Dear Mr. President

Letter to the next president!
Write a letter to the next president (don’t name who you think it is, just title it Dear Mr. President ) You have to write a total of 5 paragraphs- the breakdown is below;
1. Write an introduction paragraph about who you are, where you live, and what you want to do with your life.
2. You have to write a total of 3 paragraphs on the “Content”. You should be writing 1 paragraph for 3 different issues- you may choose from
a. Education
b. College Funding
c. Minimum Wage
d. Economy
e. Health Care
f. Taxes
g. Environment
h. The War in Iraq
i. Terrorism and National Security
j. And anything else you have me approve…

If you don’t know enough about these issues then you need to do enough research to be able to give an “informed” opinion about them.

In these paragraphs explain why this area is important to you and why the candidate should consider your ideas

3. Finally in a closing paragraph thank the candidate for listening to you and remind them how important what they do over the next four years is to you.
